Hamilton is stuck in the bitter winter the better part of the year; there were times in April and May when it would still snow. The cold is relentless. 

But somehow, it seems like the campus turned green overnight and spring hit with full force.  Daffodils and crocuses start to peek out at the beginning, a precursor to the tiny green buds that burst out from within the dormant trees. Then, the beautiful magnolias and the cherry blossoms shortly after. It's one of my favorite times of the year at Hamilton--people finally get out of the spring semester slump and are just happier.

I went out with Eliza on a beautiful spring day to take some photographs. First shoot in forever and I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things, but I'm feeling so good
